In seeking the face of God concerning the year 2013, I was very scared when He directed me to the book of Ezekiel, Chapter Seven. It grieves my heart to deliver a message like this but I follow after the order of prophets like Elijah, Isaiah, Ezekiel and Jeremiah to deliver a message of warning, and admonition. The Lord our righteousness has risen up in judgement against the sin of man which continues to be abominable in His sight.(Ezekiel 7;5) “Thus saith the Lord God; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.
7 The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.” The Lord is ready to judge the earth according to its evil ways. The fury of our God is invoked and only true repentance can withhold His mighty arms.
(Ezekiel 7;23) “Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
24 Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.
26 Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumor shall be upon rumor; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients”.
God will recompense evil for evil and good for good as a seed brings forth after its kind and there shall always be seed time and harvest. The hands of the wicked and supposedly strong shall be weakened and they shall drink from the dregs of the full cup of God’s fury. The righteous will be satisfied with mercy and grace. This shall be their portion:
(Job 5;19) He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.
20 In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword.
21 Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.
22 At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.
23 For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee.
24 And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin.
25 Thou shalt know also that thy seed shall be great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth.
26 Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season.
27 Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good.
Kindly read Ezekiel 7, it is very explicit and needs no further interpretation. This is the time for the whole world to pause and ponder on events and issues that have become the norm, like senseless killings, hate crimes, drought. global warming, deceases and pestilence. The laws of God and the Universe have been violated and we are facing enormous consequences of our indifference to laid down rules. None is safe, for the end of all things is at hand. Judgement has been deferred for a long time, but it shall no more be delayed. The righteous must put on the whole armor, standing on guard as warriors, so that they will not share in the sorrows of the wicked. Thus saith the Lord, be careful and be cautious of sugar coated prophecies, for they will bring disappointment and frustration. Pray without ceasing, Pray for mercy and grace; the unmerited favor of God. 2013 is the year of change. Our attitude towards God, His precepts, Humanity at large, including the Earth and it’s fullness must change. There must be a big paradigm shift! Shalom
