International Network of Christian Intercessors presents: Praying for global peace and concerns. (Thursday August 15, 2013)

Sanctification, Dedication, Consecration.

Daily, we have started to witness Bible prophecy coming to pass before our very eyes. Wars, famine, pestilence and many other calamities have become prevalent in the universe. The judgement and the visitation of our Creator is near; it is thus pertinent for us to be ready for the blasting sound of the heavenly trumpets. The Bridegroom is nearer than we think; He will descend in His glorious majesty to wine and dine with His wife, the righteous church of God. The twenty four elders, archangels, angels and the host of heaven are alert waiting for the moment. The book of Revelation 19:7-9 is explicit on this-“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should  arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb”.

This is indeed the time to ponder concerning our positions in Christ Jesus. Are you ready? This is the time for the church of God to preach about preparation, consecration and dedication; this is in fact the set time to focus, be in the moment, check ourselves daily and wait as vigilant soldiers ready for our Commandant to give the final order. Kindly deliberate on the lyrics of this powerful song written by Frances R Havergal. (1874) Meditate on it, turn it into your daily prayer, sing it as a song; soak in every word as you wait patiently for your King.

  1. Take my life and let it be
    Consecrated, Lord, to Thee.
*Take my moments and my days,
Let them flow in endless praise.
  2. Take my hands and let them move
At the impulse of Thy love.
Take my feet and let them be
    Swift and beautiful for Thee.
  3. Take my voice and let me sing,
    Always, only for my King.
Take my lips and let them be
    Filled with messages from Thee.
  4. Take my silver and my gold,
Not a mite would I withhold.
    Take my intellect and use
Every pow’r as Thou shalt choose.
  5. Take my will and make it Thine,
It shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart, it is Thine own,
It shall be Thy royal throne.
  6. Take my love, my Lord, I pour
At Thy feet its treasure store.
Take myself and I will be
    Ever, only, all for Thee.
