Genesis 1:27, 28
27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
The word of God tells us that we are made after the image and likeness of God. Our heavenly Father blessed man (male/female) and gave a commandment for him to be fruitful, replenishing and subduing the earth. He magnanimously gave man the power of attorney to rule the universe. This act of benevolence has always touched my heart, but my awakening and ‘aha’ moment came from my little nephew’s audacity to claim everything in sight as his own! “Hm my own” [It’s my own] he will scream and bellow. What a spunk! May be, we all need the same childlike faith to pursue, overtake and possess our possessions. Claim that promise child, a life partner, a new home and many more. Take this prophetic step, visualize what you desire and shout over and over again, “It’s my own”. Believe it, and so shall it be. Amen
