Beyond Religion…
Churches, Temples, Rituals and Protocols have become the order of the day in our society. Church meetings, board meetings, endless revivals and unlimited fundraisers have become the standard for measuring closeness with God. All these are physical and temporal. Faith, love, compassion, mercy, hope, endurance, fortitude and gratitude are eternal virtues that come from within. They actually summarize the totality of God’s perfection in us. The divine purpose of God for mankind has never been about groups, sects and doctrines. It is about an assignment and a way of life, all culminating in bringing pleasure to God. Let us therefore endeavor to step outside the box and strive for a higher calling which conforms to the blueprint of God.
